Excitement builds for the Cardinal’s post-season
Cardinals postseason tickets had been officially put on sale on Friday, Sept 16. With this development, excitement was building at Busch Stadium. Cardinal fans are lining up in queues to get their hands on tickets. It is expected to be a big weekend for Cardinals baseball. One of the fans,” Kerri Wafford” has advised that she had got four tickets for Friday and got two tickets for Saturday and she is waiting for the playoffs.
One can imagine the passion in the fans by this example. One of the major reasons for this pass is that Albert Pujols is nearing on 700 career home runs. So fans are hoping that he scores these home runs in the weekend game and they are hoping to catch the history being created.
Fans are also anxious to see how Yadi and Wainwright perform in the weekend game. All the fans love Albert and are praying that he creates history on the weekend.
One of the fans, Dan McClain said that it was extraordinary to see Pujols play for the Cardinals last year. He is very happy that Pujols has come back for his last season. Albert was here when the stadium opened in 2006 and Dan was a kid at that time and he got to see Pujols in the inaugural season. So they are happy with Pujols is back playing as a Cardinal. Fans are excited beyond words and they are hoping to see the cardinal post a season that they can never forget.
One of the fans, Mc Clain also said that it could be a great postseason run. He emphasized that they are hitting their stride right now and are really excited about everything that Albert is doing. He also said that team had come together as a force. Molina, Waino, Goldschmidt, and Arenado are all in form and are hitting well.
So everything is look well and they just need to go out there and execute. Everybody is hoping for a super performance from the Cardinals and let’s hope the team does not disappoint the fans. Everybody is hoping for a super weekend.
